Our client seeks to hire a Senior UI/UX React.js Frontend Developer to join their product team. As a frontend developer, you will be responsible for making engineering design decisions and developing features for our front-end application. You will also be expected to be a role model for coding standards, tools, platforms and other best practices for the backend team.

The Role

  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Creating and translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
  • Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency

The candidate

  • Demonstrate experience previously in fundraising in the front-end enginnering and development field.
  • Strong communication skills to ensure you can liaise cross-department and build good working relationships.
  • 5+ years’ experience in software development or related field(s)
  • 3+ years recent experience with React.js
  • BS in Computer Science OR related engineering degree
  • Experience with Android SDK and UX design/wireframing a big plus
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and NodeJS
  • Experience with popular libraries that are commonly used with React.js
  • Extremely comfortable with HTML and CSS
  • Experience on web service integration (REST, JSON, GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git
